About the foundation
The Agandi Foundation is working from 8th October, 2016. It was created because of love for children, willingness to help those in need and hope to improve their quality of life. We believe in development and help. Development from first level enables people to expand their own capacities and break the poverty cycle Education frees people from bondage and turns ignorance off. Education frees people from bondage and turns ignorance off. Agandi believes that we can give orphaned children an ecosystem where they could develop. Focusing on educational excellence and care, the Foundation provides a safe place of confusion in which children can function safely. The goal is also to provide preventive healthcare and to support strong relationships with local communities.

AREA OF ACTION
WHERE ARE WE?
Our House is located in Mbarara, our kids live here, our volunteers, guests, our life goes on here. Mbarara is a very fast-growing, friendly town that covers the south-eastern part of Uganda, has about 84,000 inhabitants and is the capital of the district with the same group. Uganda in recent years has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in Africa, and the number of tourists has more than tripled in the last two decades.
Our strategic priorities until 2022 are:
- Social assistance, including support for families and people in difficult life situations and equal opportunities.
- Charity work.
- Promotion and organization of volunteering.

Love has many names
Today, February 14, is the day of lovers, and love has many names. Volunteering is probably the best expression of love for others. We present the memories of Ełczanka, Agnieszka Markowska, who after a 2.5-month stay in Uganda and volunteer work in an orphanage decided to share her impressions.
